Terms of Service

Effective: October 23, 2026

These terms govern your use of factsready.com (the "Service"), operated by FactsReady ("we," "us"). By using the Service or buying label files you agree to them.

1. What the Service does

The Service lets you enter recipe or supplement information and generates Nutrition Facts or Supplement Facts label designs and a compliance check sheet. The calculations apply our reading of published U.S. regulations (mainly 21 CFR 101.9 and 101.36) to the data you choose. We may change, add or remove features.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You are the manufacturer, packer or distributor of your product, or act for one. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legal compliance of your packaging and labeling. That includes nutrition values, serving sizes, allergen statements, ingredient lists, claims and any exemption you rely on.
  • You are responsible for what you enter: ingredients, amounts, yields, categories and tags such as added sugars.
  • Check before you print. Review every output before use, and get professional advice where needed. See the disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

3. Purchases

  • Prices are listed on the pricing page. Payment is processed by Waffo, our payment processor. We don't receive or store your full card details.
  • A purchase gives you 7 days in the same browser to edit the inputs and download the new files, and 30 days to re-download the same label.
  • Refunds follow the refund policy.

4. License to the files

  • Your files. Once you've paid, you may use, modify, print and reproduce the label files for your own products and your clients' products, without limit on print runs.
  • Our tool. You may not resell or redistribute the Service itself or its generator. You may not access the Service by automated means except through features we provide.
  • Your inputs. Your recipe and product data remain yours. We use them only to generate your files (see privacy).

5. Data sources

Ingredient data comes mainly from USDA FoodData Central, which is public-domain data published by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. We don't guarantee the accuracy or availability of third-party data. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by USDA or FDA.

6. No warranty

The Service and all outputs are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. That includes merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't warrant that any output complies with any law or will be accepted by any regulator, retailer or printer.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Excluded damages. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Examples are lost profits, recalls, relabeling or reprinting costs, or regulatory penalties.
  • Cap. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the label concerned.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service:

  • to break the law, or to make false or misleading labels
  • to interfere with the Service's operation
  • to exceed reasonable usage, for example by scraping our ingredient search.

9. Changes and termination

  • We may update these terms. The version on this page applies from its effective date.
  • We may suspend access for misuse.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the place where you live. For any other dispute, we will try to resolve it in good faith by email first.
